Chapter 22. Settings

To access Settings tab, Press Ctrl + Shift + S OR Click Application –> Settings menu.

Number Label

Choose your number label set. See Number Control.

Fin. Year Starts In

Set the month in which your financial year starts. This is a key field for various analysis like Lead Analysis.

Date Format

Choose your preferred date format.

Page Size

Specify the number of search results (rows) per page. Example: If you select 25, for every search, 25 rows be displayed at a time in the 'Search Result' grids.

Next 'N' Days

Number of days for Next 'N' days. If N is set to 25, Next 'N' Days menu will read as 'Next 25 Days'. Value of N can be between 1 and 2000.

Past 'N' Days

Number of days for Past 'N' days. If N is set to 60, Past 'N' Days menu will read as 'Past 60 Days'. Value of N can be between 1 and 2000.

Lead Analysis for the Year

Year for which lead analysis is sought. Example: To analyze leads for the year 2005, select 2005.

Example 2: Analyze leads between 1st April 2005 and 31st March 2006. Select 2005 in 'Lead Analysis for the Year' combo. Select 'Apr' in 'Fin. Year Starts In' combo.

IR Analysis for the Year

Year for which Issue Resolution (IR) analysis is sought.

Contract Analysis for the Year

Year for which contract analysis is sought.

Svc. Call Analysis for the Year

Year for which Service Call Analysis is sought.

Target Versus Actual for the Year

Year for which Target Versus Actual Analysis is sought.

Settings will take effect after you save

After you change Settings, ensure you save the settings.

Save Settings

Saves current settings. Settings will be 'remembered' for later use.

Refresh Settings

Refreshes the current settings.

Fetch

When you press fetch, Business Manager will fetch the earliest and latest date for analysis. It'll then extract the year from these dates and populate them in the pull down.

Example: Press fetch button for 'IR Analysis for the Year'. Business Manager will fetch earliest and latest issue years for Issue Resolution Analysis.

SMTP Server Settings

These settings are required to send Emails from Business Manager.

Consult your System Administrator/ Internet Service Provider (ISP) fro more details.

'Send Test Mail' will help you test your settings.

Composing Emails
