12.2. Document System

This section explains Business Manager Document system. Business Manager stores a copy of the document file in the database.

Example:

  • Prepare a new file called 'invoice.doc' (1) and save it on your desktop.

  • Define a 'New Document' in Business Manager and choose 'invoice.doc' as the document file.

  • Save the Document. (2)

  • A copy of the 'invoice.doc' file is now stored securely in Business Manager database. (4)

[Note] Note

If you now delete the file, 'invoice.doc', residing on your desktop, a copy of it will still be present in the Business Manager database.
